Whether outside on the Theresienwiese or in the middle of the beer tent: once again we are providing reliable mobile phone coverage at the Oktoberfest on behalf of Telefónica. For years, we have been supporting the realisation and commissioning of mobile phone masts and antennas at the Munich Oktoberfest. The now 20 temporary mobile phone sites and numerous antennas in the tents are spread across the entire festival grounds and ensure that all visitors can stay in contact with each other and share their impressions all the time.
This year, our client Telefónica even had a film team on site. They captured some great footage of the construction site and also interviewed radio network planner Andreas Illgen and our system technician Lars Spinger.
